Sandra Saenz, 73, of Palacios passed away September 17, 2024.  She was born October 6, 1950 in Kingsville, Texas to the late Eliodoro Saenz and Lidia Garcia Saenz.

She lived her life surrounded by loved ones and making friends everywhere she went. She loved to attend church and play her tambourine. Her soul was moved by God's music and that inspired her to dance with family and friends. She enjoyed food with good company. She also loved reading and writing to her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Martha Cano.

Survivors include her son Noe Saenz & wife Noelia; sisters Suzana Saenz, Zorida Garcia & husband Hector, Julia Muniz & husband Salvador and Maria Acuna & husband Antonio; brothers Jodie Saenz & wife Angie, Jesse Saenz & wife Sally and Pete Saenz and grandchildren Noe Chacon-Saenz, Jr. and Noah Chacon-Saenz.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Palacios Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM with Pastora Mary Silva officiating with translation Jennifer Rivera.  Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias, Texas.
