Robert Eugene Davis, 91, born in Anderson, Indiana, to Hazel Florence McKnight Davis, Mother and Floyd Wilson Davis, Father. On May 10, 2023, Robert, of New Caney, Texas, went to be with the Lord.

After graduating from Markleville High School, Markleville, IN, in 1949, Robert attended a business school and received his Accounting Degree. Robert was then hired by Marathon Oil Company, where he continued to work for 37 years. He enjoyed watching sports on TV and he liked to dabble in the stock market.

Preceding Robert in death were, Brandy Lynn Etheridge, Granddaughter, Floyd Wilson Davis, Father and Hazel Florence McKnight Davis, Mother.

Relatives left behind are, Hazel Ann Davis Saunders, Daughter, Sandra Kay Davis Burleson, Daughter, Rebecca Lynn Davis Etheridge, Daughter, Mary Helen Askew, Sister, and James Richard Davis, Brother. He also had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, Texas.
