John Richard "Ricky" Conrad, 78, of Palacios passed away July 29, 2025.  He was born April 7, 1947 in Houston, Texas to the late William R. Conrad and Pearl Jane Malone.

Ricky is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned the rank of Sargeant and served from 1967 and honorably discharged in 1971

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Conrad.

Survivors include daughter Corri Perez (Raymond); son Sean Conrad; brothers Benny Conrad, Roger Conrad and Rodney McFarlain; grandchildren Zachary, Madison, Ashlyn, Avery, Bella and Sophia and great grandchild Penelope

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Monday, August 4, 2025 at the Palacios Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Louis Rush officiating.  Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jason Conrad, Jay Plant, JD Plant, Bryan Adcock, Jason Adcock, and RJ Trevino
