Judith "Judy" Sowden Farrer 77, of Bay City, passed away May 7, 2023. She was born July 23, 1945 in Houston, TX to the late Jerry Frank and Mary Sowden.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Eunice Lorene Farrer; brother James "Jim" Sowden, Sr.; half brother Jerry Terry Sowden; mother-in-law Ellen "Nanny" Farrer, and sister-in-law June Sowden. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Eldon (Gene) Farrer; daughters, Marrie Evans, Darla Plant (Robert) and Bobbi Denn (Danny); grandchildren Troy Evans, Lorain Evans, Samantha Evans, Brittany Plant and Micheal Plant; sisters-in law Eunice (Faye) Cunningham and Nancy Sowden, numerous nieces, nephews and great-great nieces of nephew.

Special thanks to the hospice team of Angels of Bay City.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Lan Par-Due officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers are Mitch Thames, Lynn Grebe, Vic Collins, Jason Patterson, Rod Sala and James Orr. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Lopez Nate McDonald, Mike Denn and Terry Farrar.
