Norman Bruce Schroeder, 78, of Bay City passed away January 11, 2024.  He was born April 12, 1945 in Kinzua, Pennsylvania to the late Karl and Jane Schroeder.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Schroeder.

Survivors include daughters Lisa Schroeder, Diane Wilson and Desiree Selky (Sasan); sons Kevin Schroeder (Rachel) and Isaac Schroeder; sister Linda Schroeder; brothers Carl Schroeder, Jr. and Gary Schroeder; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Bruce was a member of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. Once out of the Airforce Bruce pursued a career with Savannah River Site was a plant manager. Some of his hobbies included being an avid outdoorsman hunting deer and turkey, as well as fishing. When not chasing wildlife he was busy playing baseball and basketball with the kids or reading. Bruce was an active member of Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta, South Carolina as well as Rose of Sharon in Van Vleck, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 9:00AM Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Turning Point Church.  Funeral services will be at 10:00AM with Rev. Fidel Pesina officiating. Pallbearers will be Isaac Schroeder, Sasan Selky, Gilbert Morales, Martin Zamora, OC O'Connor, and Seth Morales. Graveside services will be at the Houston National Cemetery at 10:45AM Thursday, January 18, 2024.
