Winifred Irene Fojtik, 77, of Bay City passed away January 26, 2008. She was born January 9, 1930 to Hillman Prentis and Artlisa Bell Basch Rouse. She had been a resident of Bay City since the age of 3.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louis John Fojtik in 1997 and by her father.
Survivors include her mother Artlisa Bell Rouse of Bay City; daughters Delores Heinrich of Mena, Arkansas, Christine Bortner of Lufkin, Sharon Williams & Catharine Green both of Bay City; sons Louis Fojtik, Albert Fojtik & Frank Fojtik all of Bay City, Jim Fojtik of Tomball & Richard Fojtik of Houston; sister Peggy Fagan of Houston; ten grandsons, one granddaughter four great grandsons, five great granddaughters, one step grandson and one step granddaughter.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, January 28, 2008 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be grandsons Daniel Heinrich, Jr., Louis John Fojtik III, Louis Jerry Senkyrik, Eric Bryan Senkyrik, David Shaffer, Chris Fojtik & Matthew Fojtik.
