Willie A. Svetlik, 84, of Bay City passed away November 19, 2006. He was born March 19, 1922 in Weimer, Texas to Alois and Rosa Macha Svetlik. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, a WWII Veteran, and worked as a carpenter for many years.

He is survived by two daughters Nancy Lynch and her husband Ted of Bay City and Jeanette Murray of Missouri City; his twin brother Ray Svetlik of Bay City; grandson Paul Murray of Missouri City; and two step-grandsons Tom Lynch of Gainsville, FL and Mike Hilger of Detroit, MI.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
