Obituary

Willie F. Henkes, passed away Sept. 5, 2012 in Hilje, Texas. Willie was born on July 7, 1930 in El Maton to the late Frank and Anna Hahn Henkes. He retired from Alcoa after 25 years of service . Willie then began his true love , farming. He will be deeply missed by his friends at the Czech Catholic Home. Survived by his son, Gary Henkes; daughters, Brenda Wiley and Connie Haynes; 8 grandchildren; brother, James Henkes; sisters, Betty Jean Jozwiak, Dorothy Mazyn, Lorene Buff, Mary Ann Freeman, Annette Naiser and numerous other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sons, Wayne, Sammy and Roy Henkes; two sisters, Eleanora Davis and Joyce Miller. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Sept, 12th at St Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing with Fr. Peter Yeboah-Amanfo celebrant. Burial to follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00p>m> Tuesday with a rosary at 6:30P.M. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Henkes, Nick Henkes, Joey Henkes, Danny Henkes, Louis Henkes and Zackery Laxton. Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
