William "Bill" Sifford went to be with his Lord on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011. Bill was born on Feb. 6, 1924 in Tres Palacios to the late Oscar and Mae Downer Sifford. Survived by daughter, Becky Lynn; grandsons, James, Trevor and Logan Lynn; great-grandson, Connor Lynn and numerous other relatives. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 29 years Evelyn and a son, Ricky Gene. Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Tuesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers, Nolen Garner, Ronnie Hornischer, Trevor Lynn, James Lynn, Logan Lynn, and Louis Kopnicky.
