William Merlin Johnson, 77, of Bay City, Texas, passed away April 12, 2015. She was born September 11, 1937 in Le Grand, California to Albert and Lexxie McCleary Johnson.

William is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Loretta Edith Young Johnson; sons Dennis William Johnson and wife Janie of Ft. Worth, Steven Andrew Johnson and Martin Charles Johnson both of Bay City; sister Brenda Johnson of Montana; brother Elton Ray Johnson and wife Adriana of College Station; grandchildren Jonathan Bryan Johnson, Joshua Lee Johnson, Jacob Trevor Johnson, Meagan Lynn Johnson and Cody Charles Johnson; Lexxie McGee, Natalie Johnson, Andrew T. Johnson and a number of other nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, April 17, 2015 at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, Texas. Pastor Steve Malone will be officiating. Pallbearers are Bruce Hanzen, Teddy Melvin, Joshua Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Cody Johnson and Terry Johnson.
