William Thomas Hargrove ended his journey on this earth on January 24, 2018, in his home in Bay City, Tx, surrounded by his son and loving wife. He was born in Freeport, Tx on January 23, 1949.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents Robert & Catherine Hargrove, his 1st wife Lanna Joyce Redinger Hargrove, and his younger brother James Douglas Hargrove. He is survived by his 2nd wife, Peggy McGee, his sons Christopher Thomas Hargrove & William Oliver Hargrove, his daughters Kasie Erica McGowan & Mia Augusta Hargrove, brothers Robert Hargrove, Hardy Hargrove, his step- children James Zimmer, Wendy Greenwood, Lisa Casella, Tammi McGee, Laurie McGee, grandchildren & his step-grandchildren.

He was a loving father, beloved grandfather, giving husband and wonderful provider. He married Lanna Joyce Redinger May 25, 1992, at age 43. On March 25, 2015, Lanna passed away. During the next year, he met Peggy McGee, and remarried at age 66, on September 2, 2016. He had stated on many occasions, that he was a lucky man, because God not only sent him Lanna, but also Peggy. He often referred to himself as having two soul mates.

He was an exceptional writer, and was fascinated by history. He loved fishing and hunting, and spent many of his later years enjoying these hobbies with his family.

Visitation with the people who loved William Tommy Hargrove will be held at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home in Bay City, Tx, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. He is to be cremated, and a private burial will take place, at a later date.
