William Edward Cook was born in Emmit Arkansas Dec. 9, 1915 to the late William Joseph & Teresa Isabelle Sulzer Cook. He married the late Dorothy Ellis Cook in 1939 and moved to Bay City in 1948. He was a World War II Veteran and was retired as a First Class Machisist with Phillips Petroleum where he worked for over 30 years.
He is survived by his daughters Gwen Templeton and Charlene Harvey; grandchildren Claudette Chanik, Eddie Chanik and Lyndell Joe Chanik; great grandchildren Laurie Bass and Larry Hunt; great-great grandchildren Crystal Bell Bass and Stormy Dawn Bass; brother Imon Cook and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Macomber officiating. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Harvey, Leo Borak, Dravin Barchet, Joe Chanik, Bill Jones and John Mohon.
