Wilhelm "Sonny" Arnold, Jr., 71, of Bay City, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009. He was born November 18, 1937 in Bay City to Wilhelm H. Arnold Sr. and Catherine Loretta Jones Arnold. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City, a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of Bay City and retired route salesman for Frito Lay. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.

He is survived by his son: Ben Arnold & wife Nina of College Station; his sister: Loretta Sue Crosby of Nashville, TN; his brothers: Louis Glen "Bubba" Arnold of Houston, Robert D. "Booger" Arnold of Los Angeles, CA, James Paul "Skeeter" Arnold of Bay City and Arthur "Ozzie" Arnold of Bay City; and by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Sue Ann Arnold; and his parents: Catherine Jones & Wilhelm Arnold, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 7, 2009 at St. Peter Lutheran of Bay City with Rev. Jared Stillions officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Louis Arnold, James Arnold, Ben Arnold, Arthur Arnold, Johnny Wymack, and Robert Arnold. Honorary Pallbearer will be Loretta Sue Crosby.
