Wilbert E. Billeau, Sr., 73, of Van Vleck , passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Wilbert was born on July 4, 1942 in Bay City, Texas to the late Joseph Edward and Louise Desoto Billeau. Wilbert married Ladonia Ruth Wilson on September 20, 1962.

Wilbert's father, mother and 3 sisters, Josephine Beard, Margaret Bushon, and Wilda Ryman preceed him in death. He is survived by his wife Ladonia; daughters Tammy Coleman and husband Rickey, Lisa Billeau and Holly Sanchez; son Wilbert Billeau Jr. and wife Nancy; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00pm Sunday June 12, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2:00pm. Monday, June 13, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Christopher Ryman officiating. Interment will follow at Matagorda Cemetery.
