Wayne R. Rogers, 63, of Rosharon, TX passed away Nov. 17, 2007. He was born Dec. 5, 1943 in Palacios, TX to the late Otto Horace and Eugenia Schulke Rogers. He was an electrician and served in the US Army during Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife: Sandra Rogers of Rosharon; daughter: Tanya Fuqua & husband Richard of Richmond; son: Jarrett Rogers & wife Tammy of Houston; 2 step-daughters: Casandra George & husband Bryan of Grandbury TX & Kaylena Matthews of Ft. Worth; step-son: Gilbert Bayer of Houston; 5 sisters: Rita Nauman of Bay City, Patricia Mayo of Fairfield TX, Kathryn Miller of Ft. Walton Beach FL, Bettye Koontz of Palacios and Willa Koontz of Corpus Christi; brother: Marshall Rogers of Beeville; and 6 grandchildren: Parker, Colton & Kiley Rogers, Annabelle Fuqua, and Gilbert & Donald Bayer.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Teddy Mayo, Ron Cowart, Greg Rogers, Henry Rogers, Dewayne Ledwig, and Brian George.
