Wanda Jewell Thedford Harvey, 76, of Palacios passed away Dec. 24, 2009. She was born, the second of six children, Nov. 12, 1933 in Lolita, TX to the late Quinton R. and Gene Carradine Thedford.

Her brother Roswell Thedford preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Charles Harvey; daughters Sharlynn Ripke & husband Ricky of Seguin and Vicki Lang & husband Zach of Franklin, TN; five dearly loved grandchildren Leah & Trevor Ripke, Madelyn, Max and Mason Lang; sister Hope Alberty; brothers Pierce Thedford, Dennis Thedford, Gary Thedford and many special nieces and nephews.

Wanda was employed at ALCOA for over 45 years and a member of the 25 year club. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Palacios, the Koinonia Sunday School Class and the Palacios Alapha Club.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm to 7pm Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Palacios with Rev. Zach Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Red Bluff Cemetery in Lolita, TX.
