Walter Leo Loose, Sr. departed this world on December 6, 2010. He was born January 22, 1941 in Bay City, TX to the late Marcell and Annie Janise Loose. Walter attended grade school in Markham and graduated from Tidehaven High School in 1959.

Walter married Carole Lee Hunt of Bay City and of this marriage came two sons Walter L. Loose, Jr. of Palacios and Donald E. Loose, deceased. Walter, Jr. and his wife Stacy brought him two grandchildren Kyle Loose of Pearland and Victoria Bomar & husband Nick of Bay City. He also has one sister Letha Mae Bailey of Bay City and one brother Lloyd Henry Loose, deceased.

Walter loved to hunt, fish and travel. He made do with what he had and was proud of having a very good life. He had been living in the country near Angleton since 1981.

Walter wanted to let the folks at IPH Hospice Care know what a great job they did assisting him in his time of need. "If you have ever been a part of my life or just a friend, consider yourself an honorary pallbearer."

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Coates officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
