W. O. "Buddy" Anderson, 75 of Van Vleck passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006 at his home. He was born March 24, 1931 in Pelly, TX to Ruben Ransley Anderson and Elnora Frank Anderson. He was a retired Tech Foreman from Exxon and a member of Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge # 321 A.F. & A. M.

He is survived by his daughters: Terry Weathers and husband Craig of Sugar Land and Cheryl Bullock and husband Terral of Baytown; by his son: Mike Anderson and wife Penny of La Marque; his sister: Juanita Joines of Thompson; and a brother: Preston Anderson of Bay City. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jason & Frank Weathers, Amanda Johnston, Lora & Joshua Bullock, Taggart Anderson and Gena Wilkes; and by his great-grandchildren: Micayla Anderson, Hannah Anderson, Benjamin Weathers and Natalie Johnston. He was preceded in death by his wife: Grace Ashcraft Anderson; his parents: Ruben R. & Elnora Anderson and his sister: Reba Brown.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Don Story officiating. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic Graveside services will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Frank Weathers, Jason Weathers, Taggart Anderson, Joshua Bullock, Gayle Brown and Allan Brown.
