Virginia Mae Cole, 58, of Bay City passed away September 30, 2023.  She was born March 3, 1965 to the late Joe Edwin Frost and Linda Tucker Frost.

Mom taught everything more by example and in the way she treated our family and others. She was kind to everyone, and always willing to help someone out. She cooked all our food, she sewed all our clothes, she made every holiday an event, and expected us to always do and be our best.

She worked at the Matagorda County Appraisal District for many years.  If you truly knew her, you know that she liked to help people who were in need.  My mom liked to go fishing and she loved going to garage sales.  She loved riding around town with me.  We used to try different food trucks and rate them, it feels like it was only yesterday.  All my mother wanted to do was to relax and be happy, and I believe she is finally with my father and truly happy.

I know she believed in the Bible.  She had a lot of questions towards the end of her time here on earth, but I'm so happy I was able to comfort her and assure her, yes there's a lot of dark times mother.  There are a lot of bad people, bad things and just purely cruel and evil humans who deserve suffering.  My mother Virginia Mae Sabrsula did not deserve any of the suffering that she endured. Today we come together to ensure there is no more suffering for her to endure.  In the Sweet Loving Memory of Virginia Mae Sabrsula.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Edward Sabrsula and her sister, Elizabeth Frost Morrow.

Survivors include her former husband Robert M. Cole; son Bradley John Sabrsula sister Carolyn Frost; brother Joey Frost (Debbie) as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Day at Nichols Street Church of Christ.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM with Matt Springfield officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jonathan Furchert, Allen Tucker, Ray Tucker, Jay Crochet, Jerry Dean Crochet, Leif Anderson, Joey Frost and Donald Tucker.
