Virginia Fuentes, 92, of Freeport passed away March 22, 2007. She was born September 25, 1914 in San Antonio to Dario and Jesusa Hernandez Fuentes.

She is survived by one sister Louise R. Pierce of Freeport; nephew Frank Rangel of Freeport; nieces Adeline Lara & husband Rudy of Sweeny and Virginia Garcia & husband Deacon Julio of Lake Jackson and a number of great nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Friday, March 23, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Darrell Garcia, Julio R. Garcia, Rudy Lara, Jr., Chebo Lara, Zeno Lara & Jeremy Lara.
