Viola Manry, 84, of Bay City passed away March 28, 2009. She was born August 25, 1924 in High Island, Texas to the late Berry Monroe & Ella Mae Andrus Dailey. She had been a resident of Matagorda County since 1960.

She was preceded in death by her husband W. H. "Red" Manry and son Roger Edgar Manry. Survivors include daughters Martha Henderson of The Woodlands, Gloria Smith & husband Tommy of Cleveland, TX; sons and their wives Benjamin & Beth Manry of Kerrville, James & Eve Manry of Gainsville, GA, Timothy & Millie Manry of Bothal, WA, William H. Manry, Jr. & Lorraine of Bryan, TX and Berry & Terry Monteau of Bay City; 22 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family from 5pm to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike Monteau, Beau Gatewood, David Manry, Donald Manry, Jared Manry, Justin Mouton, Tommy Smith, Gerald Manry & Glenn Chambless.
