Victor Becerra, Sr., 87, of Bay City, passed away June 1, 2017. He was born July 28, 1929 in Gonzales, TX to Anestacio and Virginia Cordova Becerra.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, one sister and grandson Christopher DeWayne Moore. He is survived by his wife Petra Ramon Becerra; daughters Maria Moore (Dan) of Bay City, Alicia B. Chase (Raymond) of Sugar Land, TX, Sylvia Sosa (Abel) of Houston, Janie Rodriguez of Dallas, Nancy Torres (Hector) of Pasadena, TX and Virginia Campos (Angel) of Houston; sons Victor Becerra, Jr. (Angie) of Bay City, Jesse Becerra (Yvette) of Brazoria and Eric Becerra (Dana) of Bay City.; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 5:00pm Monday, June 5 at the funeral home. The Rosary will be at 6:30pm. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Msgr. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Cedervale Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eric Becerra, Victor Rene Becerra, Chris Becerra, Michael Sosa, Robert Allen Contreras and Adam Rodriguez.
