Veronica Sanchez, 50, of Palacios, Texas, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026. She was born on February 28, 1976, in Mexico to Jose Carlos Padron and Faustina Aguiñaga.

Veronica was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and wife who touched the lives of everyone around her. She was known for her funny, loving, caring, strong, and outgoing personality. She had a way of bringing smiles and laughter to those around her and made lasting memories with the people she loved. Veronica enjoyed dancing, listening to music, shopping, gardening, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Her family meant everything to her, and the moments they shared will forever be treasured. She will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her laughter, her strength, and the unconditional love she gave to those closest to her. Though she may be gone from our sight, the memories she created and the love she shared will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Veronica was preceded in death by her father, Jose Carlos Padron. She is survived by her Husband, Ramiro Sanchez, Jr.; Mother, Faustina Aguiñaga; Son, Ramiro Sanchez III; Daughters, Jeanette Sanchez, Mayra Sanchez, and Veronika Sanchez; daughter-in-law, Olivia Sanchez; and granddaughter, Amelia Rose Sanchez.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 5-7pm Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Palacios Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary being recited at 6:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am Monday, November 9, 2026, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with a Rosary at 9:30am. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers for Veronica will be Ramiro Sanchez, Jr., Ramiro Sanchez III, Ramiro Sanchez, Alonso Sanchez, Juan Padron and Cresencio Padron.
