Vera W. Walters, 89, of Friendswood passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010. She was born March 27, 1921 in Ashwood, Texas to the late George Washington & Mary B. Chastun Walker.
Vera is survived by her son: David L. McCullough & wife Delayne of Friendswood; sister: Lucille Turner of Conroe; 2 grandchildren: Tracy Head & husband Jeff and Laurie McCullough; and 4 great grandchildren: Mason McCullough, Tristan Benes, Taylor Head, and McKenna Head. Her parents and husbands: Henry Lee McCullough and Ruben Clifton "R.C." Walters preceded Vera in death.
Visitation will begin 11:00 AM Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be: Buddy, Bill, & Butch Bevers, John Fox, Jeff Head, and Dewayne Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be George and David Walker.
