Vera Lucille Sanders, 90, of Van Vleck, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. She was born in Lovelady, Texas on April 17, 1925 to the late E. P. and Ella Beatrice Ridgeway.

Vera loved to cook and play bingo. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Vera is survived by her daughter Nancy Dannelley; grandchildren James Dannelley Jr. (Lauren), Michael Dannelley (Tracy), Siena Brandford and husband Lane; half-sister Carolyn Taylor; step-children Sharon Lindberg (Fred), Curtis Dale Sanders (Sabrina) and Gaye Daughtery. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Curtis Sanders, son-in-law Jim Dannelley Sr. and sister Pat Eilers. The family will have a private service in Broaddus, Texas at a later date.
