Vera Geniesse, 92, of Bay City passed away July 20, 2012. She was born September 27, 1919 in Edna, Texas to the late H. C. Judkins and Bertha Coburn Judkins. She was a kind soul who always shared her hand made quilts, crocheted items, and baked goods with a smile. Vera and her late husband, Frank Geniesse, owned and operated Frank's Grocery for many years in Bay City.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Geniesse in 1986, and brother Glen Judkins. Survivors include one sister Loreta Barber of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 nieces; and 1 nephew.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck with Rev. Jared Stillions officiating.
