Velma Jane Stansell, 83, of Kingsland, TX passed away Friday, May 9, 2008. She was born December 13, 1924 in Hye, TX to Jacob Peter Hudson and Alta Elanora Green Hudson. She was a retired Computer Process Technician for the IRS and a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters: Wanda Lee Brown & husband Don of Kingsland, Dorthea Jeanne Wilson of Livingston and Rosalie Elaine Brown & husband Leonard of Livingston; by her sister: Stella Bruns & husband T. C. of Johnson City and by 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Stansell, her parents: Jacob P. and Alta Elanora Hudson; her sister: Marjorie E. Ashworth; her brothers: Roy Cornelius Hudson, Edward Harvey Hudson and Jacob Victor Hudson; and by one grandchild.

The Rosary will be held at 7:30 PM Monday, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2008, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX.
