Vannie Mae Cox, 98, of Bay City, passed away April 23, 2017. She was born April 30, 1918 in Brady, Texas to the late John M. and Minnie Day Evans.
Vannie is survived by her son Elton Maden (Joyce); grandchildren Carl R. Lee (Karen), Lesha Miletello (Leonard), Chris Lee, Terre Ryman (Kenneth); great grandchildren Bryan Lee, Britney DeLong, Elyssa Sonnier, Lacey DeLong, Morgan Ryman, Maci Ryman, Taylor Lee and Cheryl Lee and great-great grandchildren Logan Lee, Lincoln Lee and Briley Ryman. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William Robert Maden; husband Shelby Cox; daughter Jean Lee; sister Minnie Ruth Talafuse and brothers Ollie Evans, Fred Evans and Johnny Evans.
Services will be held 10:00am Friday, April 28, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating.
