Obituary
Vada Lee Simmons Bunk, 89, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2006 at her home in Bay City. She was born August 21, 1916 in Simmonsville, TX to Rufus B. Simmons and Mary Elizabeth Ozment Simmons. She was a resident of Bay City for 60 years, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bay City.
She is survived by her son: Clarence Michael Bunk of Bay City and her loving niece: Malda Clayton of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence T. Bunk; son: Ragen Stone; her granddaughter: Vada Sue Perez; and her parents: Rufus B. & Mary Elizabeth Simmons.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Friday, August 4, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Michael Zimmerman and Chaplain Don Storey officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Pat Matthes, Michael Clayton, Paul Brandel, Morris Howland, Bart Brown and Don Storey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the El Campo office of Houston Hospice, 1102 N. Mechanic, El Campo, TX 77437-3029.
