Uriel Ochoa, 59, of Van Vleck, Texas, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024. He was born February 4, 1965, in Apaseo el Alto Guanajuato, Mexico, to Geronimo Ochoa and Josefa Rivera Ochoa.

Uriel enjoyed grilling and spending time with his family. He also loved to dance and listen to Cumbias and Corridos. He loved going to his grandchildren's sport events to cheer them on. Uriel showed his sons how to be a provider to their own families and to always stay humble to whoever passes their paths. He was loved by so many and will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his Father Geronimo Ochoa. He is survived by his wife, Maria Ochoa; his mother Josefa Rivera-Ochoa and his 5 Children. His son Israel Ochoa wife Tiffany Ochoa, his son Victor Ochoa and wife Maria Cristina Ochoa, his son Daniel Ochoa and fiancé Vere Jimenez, his son Francisco Ochoa and wife Ashly Ochoa, his daughter Marisol Hernandez and Husband Jose Luis Hernandez.

10 grandchildren; Alyssa Ochoa, Alexy Ochoa, Haley Ochoa, Brandon Ochoa, Legend Ochoa, Francisco Ochoa Jr., Adrian Ochoa, Mariana Anahi Ochoa, Jose Luis Hernandez Jr., and Jayden Uriel Hernandez

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 5-7pm Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary being recited at 6:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00pm Friday, November 8, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, Texas. Pallbearers for Mr. Ochoa will be Israel Ochoa, Victor Ochoa, Daniel Ochoa, Francisco Ochoa, Jose Luis Hernandez, Miguel Angel Medina
