Tuyen Nguyen, 70, of Palacios passed away March 24, 2018. He was born January 5, 1948 in North Vietnam to Nhat Van Nguyen and Mun Thi Nguyen.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Tien Van Nguyen.

Survivors include his wife Nhiem Thi Bui Nguyen; mother Mun Thi Nguyen; daughters Tram Mai Bui, Tina Thu Thao Nguyen and Kathryn Thu Trang Nguyen; sons Nam Van Nguyen, Son Thanh Nguyen, Matthew Thanh Lam Nguyen, Jonathon Thanh Long Nguyen and Alexander Thanh Hai Nguyen; sisters Susan Bui and Dang Thi Nguyen; brothers, Thanh Van Nguyen, Thanh Jr. Van Nguyen, Ben Nguyen, Binh Van Nguyen and Tien Van Nguyen; and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 4PM until 8PM Wednesday and Thursday, April 4th and 5th at the Palacios Funeral Home. A Mass will begin at 5:00 PM Friday, April 6th at Our Lady of Assumption Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Our Lady of Assumption Chapel with Rev. Dominic Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery.
