Obituary
Trinidad G. Benavides passed away on Sept. 28, 2012 at the age of 92. She was Born October 5, 1919 in Westoff, TX to the late Frank Guzman and Justa Rodriguez Guzman.
She was the last survivor of six children. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will now join her family and daughter Ufima Benavides in heaven.
She left behind a daughter Elisia G. Vargas, son-in-law Rocendo I. Vargas, one son John H. Benavides, Sr., seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at the funeral home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in El Campo, TX. Pallbearers will be John Benavides, Trino Garcia, Robert Vargas, J. R. Benavides, Terrance Woods and Jacob Montalvo.
