Tray Lynn Dabney, 19, was born July 28, 1989 in Bay City to Vickie Collins and Marvin Dabney. Tray Lynn's life was cut short on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008.

She is survived by her mother: Vickie Hamlyn & husband Clay of Wadsworth; father: Marvin Dabney and wife Melanie of Georgia; brother: William Dabney & wife Tami of Bay City; Grandparents: Alice Dabney of Bay City; Janie Lea of Oklahoma, and Andy Collins of Tennessee; niece: Emma Kriner of Bay City; 4 step sisters: Chelsea Hamlyn of Lake Jackson, Michelle Hamlyn, and Lindsey Hamlyn both of Corpus Christi and Courtney Glisson of Palacios; 2 aunts: Ronda Valentine & husband Darrell of Katy and Angela Collins of Louisiana; and 3 cousins: Samantha Collins of Mabank TX, Caleb, and Cameron Valentine both of Katy. Her grandfather Julious Ralph "Bozy" Dabney preceded Tray Lynn in death.

Tray Lynn was a 2008 graduate of Van Vleck High School were she was very active in FFA and played on the high school golf team.
Tray believed in living her life to the fullest. There was nothing she couldn't do. Tray loved barrel racing, showing cattle, fishing, hunting, surfing and dancing. Her family members were her best friends and her friends were her family. When Tray smiled, the world smiled back.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AMThursday, October 16, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Bay City with Rev. Zach Nicholson officiating. Interment will be held 4:00 PM Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen, Texas. Pallbearers will be John John Miller, Danny Sisson, Alton Love, Jeff Wendell, C.J. Ratliff & Shawn Janise. David Hammond, Darrell Valentine, Kevin Sparks and Coach Michael Kelly will be honorary pallbearers.
Memorial donations can be made at Bay Cell Credit Union for a 2009 Fair Scholarship fund established in Tray Lynn's name.
