Tracy A. Childers went to be with the Lord December 27, 2010. He was born Feb. 23, 1970 in Bay City, TX. He was raised in Palacios and there began his passion for fishing. He and his brother Todd enjoyed fishing and hunting together. He spent some of his teen years in Brazoria and eventually settled in Bay City.
His two children meant the world to him. He loved taking them to Le Tulle Park where they would fish for perch for him to use as bait. He was the light and life of everything he did. He was a very true and honest man. He worked very hard in the field of construction.
He made the "Best" beef jerky around and was a horseshoe champion having won many tournaments. He sometimes out-fished himself and always looked forward to the next fishing or hunting date. He was a great teacher and loved his wife dearly as well as his step-children. He recently returned from a trip of a lifetime to Belize. He was able to live the life he wanted.
