Tommye Lee Baker of Bay City, Texas peacefully passed March 4, 2019. She was born January 23, 1925 in Humble, Texas to the late Thomas and Suda (Hammond) Ralston.   A graduate of Markham High School, in 1942 Tommye married the love of her life, Frank James Baker, Jr. of Bay City, TX.

Tommye was a longtime employee at Bay City Material, and later in life became a licensed real estate agent serving the Matagorda County area. Tommye was an accomplished bowler and attended tournaments throughout the country.  She also enjoyed collecting and decorating.

Tommye was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Frank James (Jimmy) Baker III, and brother Johnnie M. Ralston of Port Lavaca.

A graveside service will be held at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City at 10:00 am on Friday, March 8, 2019. Final arrangements entrusted to Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
