Tommy Ray Coleman passed away on July 18, 2016. He was born October 4, 1947 in Bay City, Texas to the late Ernest and Ruby Coleman. He was a lifelong resident of Matagorda County and proudly served his country the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, and wife of 34 years Lily Coleman. He is survived by sisters Wanda Lackey and Kathy Cordes; brothers Ernest Coleman, Don Coleman and Ronnie Tweedle; stepchildren Cindy Henry and Timmy "Timbo" Moore, and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren;

A private family memorial service was held July 28, 2016 with burial following in Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Association, 2030 N. Loop West #250, Houston, Texas 77018.
