Thomas Park Graham, passed away August 28, 2004, at the age of 79. Born July 21, 1945, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Clyde Park Graham and Dorothy Wardlaw Graham. Tom was a beloved husband, father, "PaPaw," brother, uncle, and the kindest friend to all who knew him.
Tom (Tommy) played several sports in school, including football, track, and boxing. He graduated from Brainard High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 1963 and soon after enlisted in the service and was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy. Tom began his career as an electrician at the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. In 1985, the family moved to Bay City, TX, where he finished his career at the South Texas Nuclear Plant in Palacios, TX, retiring in 2011. If Tom was not working, he was with his family, fishing, playing cards, or watching Hogan's Heros.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Maria L. Graham; children Debra (Steven) Dismuke, David (Michele) Graham, and Theodore Moreno, Jr., Albert (Suma) Moreno, Diana (Robert, Jr.) Ruiz, Erica Luna (Frank), and Albert (Suma) Moreno; and brother Richard (Cheryl) Graham; grandchildren Steven Dismuke II, Abigail (Aidan) Clark, Hunter Graham, Avery Graham, Robert Ruiz III, Hillary D. Ruiz, Albert Moreno, Jr., Kaitlyn Moreno, Jacob Luna, Caleb Luna, and many nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death in 2004 by his wife of 39 years, Marylin Fisher Graham, and his brother, James E. Graham.
The family will receive visitors from 1-3 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tenn.
