Thelma Rhea Messer, 72, passed away January 25, 2019. She was born August 23, 1946 in Cooter, Missouri to the late Willie Edgar Lancaster and Opal Gaye Reynolds Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Messer and two sons Jerry Elliott and Terry Elliott.

Survivors include her daughter Kim Beard and husband Michael; sister Lorraine Gallimore; brother Bobby Joe Lancaster and 6 grandchildren – Brock Elliott, Sierra Elliott, Tabitha DeMartino, Elizabeth Beard, Samantha Beard, and Susie Beard.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 28, 2019 at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
