IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Terri Colleen
Brouhon
June 16, 1960 – September 8, 2024
Terri Colleen Brouhon, 64, of Van Vleck, Texas, took her journey home to be with her husband, parents, and her Lord & Savior, Sunday, September 8, 2024.
She was born June 16, 1960, in El Campo, Texas to the late Henry Wilke and Plama Harwell Wilke. She grew up in El Campo and graduated from El Campo High School in 1978. She went straight to work to help provide for her already growing family.
Terri enjoyed family gatherings, hanging out, laughing, playing games, picking on each other, and just being together. Let us not forget her favorite season of the year, Football Season. She loved her Oilers and then her Texans.
She was a social person, never meeting a stranger and always welcoming to anyone. Those who knew her loved her. She had such a big heart and loved her children & grandchildren beyond measure. She also had an incredibly special love and bond with her cats and squirrel. At times, they were what got her through some of her hardest days.
She had many talents. One of everyone's favorites - her cinnamon rolls. They were amazing. She loved to cook and always cooked enough to feed an army but, in her defense, there were usually extras sitting at the table come dinner time. She also enjoyed crocheting, paint by numbers, and playing cards among other things but what she enjoyed most was being "Nena." She adored her grandchildren and was so proud of each one of them and their accomplishments thus far.
Terri was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Robert "Bob" Brouhon, her parents, Henry & Plama Wilke, baby brother Arthur "Brent" Wilke, big brother, Henry "Bio" Wilke, and her big sister, Dianne Valcik.
Remaining to cherish Terri's memory are her daughters, Brandi Cowan (Chuck) and Amy Quiroga (Eddy Jr.) both of Van Vleck, TX, big sister, Karen Belcolore of North Carolina, and "Lil'" sister Jennifer N. Kidwell (Todd) of Danevang, TX.
"Nena" will be remembered by her grandchildren, Patrick Perkins currently of Yankton, SD (son of Amy), Lainie Quiroga, Addison & Piper Cowan, Eddy III "Boobie" and Luke "Fatty Daddy" Quiroga, all of Van Vleck, TX. She will also be lovingly remembered by nieces & nephews and even a few unofficially adopted children, who will miss her dearly.
Terri's daughters, along with close family and friends, will gather to celebrate Terri's life, with all her favorite things, on October 19th. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
