Talmadge James Tatum, Sr., 67, of Bay City died January 3, 2007. He was born December 12, 1939 in Bay City to the late A. J. and Kathleen Hennigan Tatum. He and his wife operated Tex-Pak Express in Bay City for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Jean Ann Tatum of Bay City; daughter & son-in-law Kimberly Ann and David Morton of Bay City; sons Jim Tatum of Bay City and A. Jay Tatum of Wadsworth; grandchildren Craig Guynes, Dee Guynes, Brian Tatum, A. J. Tatum, Tamira Stone, and Robyn Stone.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francisville Cemetery in Wadsworth, Texas. Pallbearers include Ronnie Radfort, Bill Johnson, Dave Rotramel, Keith De Fehr, Michael Gandy, Jim Lyle, Robert Searles and Michael Martin.
