Obituary
Sylvia Oline Duran, 86, of Bay City passed away Oct. 26, 2009. She was born Jan. 28, 1923 in Round Rock, Texas to the late Louis Alexander & Myrtle Matty Dunaway Watts.
Her husband D. B. Duran; son L. M. Duran; and daughter Bonnie Duran Claussen all preceded her in death. Survivors include; daughter-in-law Gwen Symmank; son-in-law Donald L. Claussen; grandchildren John Aaron Duran, Angela Denise Duran, Britt Lee Claussen & wife Michelle & Amy Lynn Claussen Schnieder & husband Adam; great grandchildren John Daniel Duran, Heather Lynn Duran, Rachel Leanne Lawrence and Karma & Destiny Tealer; niece Jan Davis and nephew Oland "Roy" Davis.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Lane Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Lewis Lawrence, Butch Symmank, Bobby Pelham, Robert Crain, David Brown and Billy Ware.
