Sylvester Mario Morales, 36, of Bay City, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009. He was born December 2, 1972 to Jesse Morales and Mamie Herrera Morales. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is survived by his mother: Mamie Morales of Bay City; his brother: Richard Lee Morales, Sr. & wife Kristine of Bay City; by brother-in-law: Gary Spence of Baytown; by nieces and nephews: Richard Morales, Jr., April Chambers Morales, Misty Morales, Jadon Morales, Carson Morales, all of Bay City, Gary Kendall Spence, Jr. of Dallas and Carol Ann Spence of Baytown; and by his great nieces and nephew: Skylere and Sierra Chambers, Sadie Perez, and Logan Morales. He was preceded in death by his sister: Veronica Morales Spence.

The Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, October 26, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Morales, Jr, Jadon Morales, Gary Kendall Spence, Jr, Oscar Soto, Jr, Erik Morales, and Larry Morales, Jr.
