Stephanie Lynn Valdez, 31, of Bay City, passed away December 2, 2017. She was born on February 24, 1986 in Bay City, Texas to Jose Rodriguez and Katy Valdez.

Stephanie was a loving daughter, mom, cousin and sister. She loved God and was devoted to her faith. Stephanie was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.

Stephanie is survived by her son Jordan; parents Jose Rodriguez, and Katy and her husband Steven Garay; brothers and sisters, Cassandra, Leslie, Makayla, Joe and Leanne; grandmothers Hope Zamora and Sophie Q. Valdez; grandfather Moses Zamora and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Lorenzo R. Valdez Sr. and Uncle Lorenzo Valdez Jr.

The family will receive friends and relatives 4:00-8:00pm Tuesday, December 5 at the funeral home. Services are 10:00am Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
