Obituary
Stephanie Milich "Steffie" Hlavinka, 81, of Bay City died October 3, 2005 in Bay City. She was born June 12, 1924 in Czechoslovakia to Emil and Anna Milich. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and had been a resident of Bay City for 60 years.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and Johnny Lowe of Bay City and Mary Salinas of Galveston and by two grandchildren Stephanie Munson and her husband Stratton of Angleton and Jack J. Bevers III of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband John S. Hlavinka, a daughter Betty Bevers, five sisters and three brothers.
A rosary will be read at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
