Stanley Wright, 79, of Palacios passed away February 10, 2013. He was born May 28, 1933 in Palacios, TX to the late Robert Millard Wright and Lilita Clementine Clopton Wright. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for Alcoa for many years.

Survivors include his wife Martha Dewett Wright of Palacios; daughter Crystal Letitia Foster (Luke) of Austin; son Stanley Dewitt Wright of Palacios and grandchildren Bradley Dale Wright, Stanley J. Wright and Christopher Wade Wright.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm – 7pm Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Palacios Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery with Masonic rights. Pallbearers will be Luke Foster, Bradley Dale Wright, Stanley J. Wright, Christopher Wade Wright, Steve Rabb and Andy Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Harvey, Kevin Harvey, Wayne White, Johnny Penland, Chincho Garcia, Tim Wright and Joe Soto.
