Sophie Reyes Valdez, 75, of El Campo passed away September 23, 2016. She was born December 3, 1940 in Wharton County, TX .
She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Valdez, daughter Gloria Valdez and grandsons Efrin Lopez, Jr. and Randy Moya.
Survivors include daughters Sarah Fonseca & husband Baudelio of El Campo, Joann Moya & husband Mario of Bay City and Diane Marin & husband Juan of Blessing; grandchildren Cindy, Fermin, Javier, Angelica, Juan, Jr., Norma, Cassandra, Gloria, Mario, Jr. Israel and Marky and 29 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 26, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
