Sidonia Zacharias Vaclavik, 85, of Bay City passed away October 12, 2016. She was born November 8, 1930 in Yoakum, TX to the late Fritz Zacharias and Hertha Rupert Zacharias.

Sidonia was a loving, kind and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was full of life and loved her church. She is known as a true avid supporter of the Bay City Blackcat Baseball team. Her joy was watching her grandchildren play ball. She will always be remembered and truly missed by everyone that knew her.

Her husband Rudolph Vaclavik preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children John Vaclavik (Debbie), Diana Mathis (John) and Belinda Organ (Gregg) all of Bay City; sister Dolores Means of Grand Saline, TX; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin 3:00 PM Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 PM with Rev. Jared Stillions officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Todd Mathis, Trent Mathis, Jordan Vaclavik, Justin Vaclavik, Bryan Vaclavik and Mark Vaclavik. Honorary pallbearers will be Dick Quinn, John Dickerson, Gregg Organ, Brian Stone and Eugene Vaclavik.
