Shirley Ann Laughlin, 85, of Bay City passed away March 8, 2021.  She was born October 19, 1935 in LaSalle, TX to the late Richard Reininger and Helen Krobot Reninger.

Shirley was a long time member of the MRMC Auxiliary and Holy Cross Catholic Church. She also enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband: Melvin Ray Laughlin; daughters: Vicky Avants and Cheryl Klaiber (Dave); son: Jeffrey Cross (Terri); step-children: Cathy Paton (Tony) and James Laughlin (Kristin); brothers: Gail Reininger and Richard Reininger, Jr.; grandchildren: Keith Avants (Elvie), Jeffery Wayne Cross, Scott Avants (Michelle), Michelle Klaiber, Sean Klaiber (Holly), Amanda Marshall (Seth) and Danica Cross; step-grandchildren: Kaleb Laughlin, Samuel Paton, James Paton, and  Sarah Paton; and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Deacon Wally Rodriguez officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.  Pallbearers will be Keith Avants, Scott Avants, Sean Klaiber, Sam Paton, Kaleb Laughlin and Jeffery Wayne Cross.  Honorary pallbearers will be C. J. Avants, Cort Avants, Caleb Cross, James Paton, Derryk Marshall, Kile Marshall, Ashton Siptak, and Bryan Cross.
