Sherman (Cowboy) Redd, 84, a long time resident of Van Vleck, TX, went to be with our Lord in Heaven March 7, 2016 peacefully at his home with his wife of 22 years, Glenda Redd, by his side. He was born in Fastril, TX June 3, 1931 to the late Ramsey and Letisha Redd.

Cowboy was preceded in death by his daughter Peggy Lee Ducote. He is survived by his two sons John Redd of Haskell, TX and Buster Redd of Van Vleck, TX; step-daughters Shelly Bullock of Bay City, TX and Joy King of Van Vleck, TX; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 12 Noon Thursday, March 10, 2016 followed by funeral services at 2:00pm at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, TX with Billy Redd officiating. Pallbearers are Little Sherman Redd, Craig Kile, Casey Kile, Eli King, Michael Callais, and David Bullock. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX.
