Sheri Lynn Shindler, 60, of Bay City went to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Sheri was born on October 19, 1952 in Austin, Texas. She was a great educator for over 30 years. She touched many lives in that time especially at Tidehaven I.S.D.

Preceded in death by Father, Robert Ligon and Mother and Stepfather Billie & Clarence Friesen. Survived by her husband, Jesse Shindler; Stepmother, Margie Ligon; children, Donica Shindler, Somer Shindler, Bill Shindler, Lacey Shindler & husband Michael Byrn; Brother; Robert Ligon Jr. & wife Laura Ligon; grandchildren Julius, Geneneve, and Linley; and by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, step-siblings, and cousins.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at Nichols Street Church of Christ, 1200 Nichols St., Bay City, Texas on Friday, May 24th at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to join for reception afterwards to share memories and laughter on Sheri's behalf.
